What it does

Built for a collaborating lab's parenting-behavior study, this annotator makes it easy to score maternal and parental behaviors in mouse videos. Load a video, step through it frame by frame, and mark when each behavior begins and ends. Each category lives on its own color-coded timeline track. A pooled parenting prediction track (from the ParentingAll model) sits alongside six manually scored ethogram codes, so model output and hand annotation can be compared at a glance. Annotations auto-save as JSON next to the source video. Everything runs in your browser, with no installation, and your videos never leave your computer.

Seven behavior tracks

Parenting
Attack
Crouch
Lick
Nest building
Retrieve
Sniff

The Parenting track is a pooled prediction from the ParentingAll model; the remaining six are the project's BORIS ethogram codes, scored by hand.
